YLANG YLANG -
Ylang Ylang originated in the Philippines. The name Ylang Ylang means "fragrance of all fragrances" or "flower of flowers." Its sweet fragrance is traditionally used to sharpen the senses and to alleviate depression, fear, anger and jealousy. The scent of Ylang Ylang is intensely sweet, heady, floral and slightly spicy with a narcissus or banana like overtone.
Its therapeutic properties are considered to also include lowering blood pressure, relaxing nerves, relieving muscle spasms, stimulates circulation and aids in sexual difficulties such as lack of confidence and/or inhibition. It is also said to stabilize mood swings caused by PMS and menopause.
